European Custom Cabinets is owned and operated by Angelo Lastrina, a 3rd generation remodeling contractor, serving the greater central Connecticut area for the past 25 years.
Family owned and operated since 1993, our company specializes in combining superior
service with unparalleled quality to complete the kitchen or bath of your dreams. How are
we different? Not only are we cabinet manufacturers and designers, we are remodeling contractors. This means that we provide you with high quality custom cabinetry, plus we do
the whole remodeling project, from floor to ceiling and from start to finish! This includes a
free consultation, our design services, any structural changes involved such as moving walls
or enlarging windows, plumbing and electrical services... all tailored to suit your requirements
and budget. We are your one stop shop.
Our Cabinetry
European cabinetry is frameless construction consisting of full overlay, self closing doors
and drawers. This means there is minimal spacing between drawer and door fronts for a streamlined look that provides customers with full accessability to the interior cabinets.
Combine this with with full adjustable shelving or pull-out drawers in the base cabinets and concealed hinges that adjust in three directions, and you get unlimited storage options.
The cabinets are solid wood - 3/4" thick on the sides and bottoms with ½" backs. This
exceeds the industry standards of ½" to 5/8" sides, resulting in a higher quality body than is
on the market today. Our doors and drawers come in many different design styles from
shaker to traditional raise panel and are available in cherry, maple, oak, red birch and other
hard wood species with custom stains and finishes. We also provide durable thermo-foil
doors in many colors and wood grains.
Countertops
European Custom Cabinets template, manufacture, and install countertops to suit your style. Material choices include granite, solid surfaces such as Gibralter, Avonite, and Hi-Max, and laminates such as Formica and WilsonArt in every color and pattern imaginable. Designer
edging and inlays add a personal touch.
Finishing Touches
All wood trim and accessories from crown mouldings to baseboards are provided. Other decorative touches such as beaded panels, pillars, plate-racks, corbels, inset doors, furniture toe-kicks, and ornamental hardware make your kitchen or bath unique.
